The map

Where the Van Goes

The shop is on Brassey Avenue in Hampden Park, on the north side of Eastbourne, which puts Polegate and Hailsham straight up the A22, Bexhill along the coast to the east and Lewes over the Downs to the west. Each town has its own page, with the villages and postcode districts we cover from it and what its houses tend to need.

If you are just outside these areas, ask. We usually can.

    Bexhill

Along the coast to the east: the Edwardian seaside town, the bungalows of Little Common and Cooden, the flats along the front and the villages behind. A regular run for the van.

  • A bedroom chair on a soft neutral carpet in a period house

    Lewes

    BN7 · BN8

Our furthest regular area, beyond the Downs in the county town: Georgian and older houses, flint and brick, listed streets, and the villages of the Ouse valley around it.
