Bexhill

Bexhill is a carpet town. Bungalow living rooms and bedrooms, the halls and stairs of the Edwardian houses and the flats along the front all want a good wool twist or a soft loop pile, fitted over a proper underlay. Our carpet fitters bring the sample books to the door, and we take particular care over the seams in the long, light rooms the town is known for.

For flats with communal stairs we plan the access, the parking and the day with the management company in advance, so fitting is quick and there is no waste left on the landing.

Laminate in living rooms and bedrooms where a hard floor is wanted on a sensible budget, and in the rental flats around the centre where a floor has to survive several tenancies. We fit both with the right underlay and finish them properly at every door.

Stairs are a speciality: the wide flights with a half landing in the Edwardian houses, fully fitted or with a runner, and the communal stairs in the flats where a hard wearing loop pile over a firm underlay is the practical choice. In the village houses behind the town we measure every tread, because no two are quite the same.
